Solar Installer
Position Overview:
The Solar Installer plays a key role in bringing clean energy solutions to life. You’ll be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining residential and commercial solar systems. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, using technical skills, and being part of a team that’s building a more sustainable Alberta.
Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels, racking, and related equipment on rooftops and ground mounts.
- Assist electricians with wiring and system connections.
- Conduct site preparation and ensure safe working conditions.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, roofing, or related trades preferred.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work with hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of solar systems is an asset, but training is provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Position Overview:
As a licensed (or apprentice) electrician, you’ll be responsible for wiring and connecting solar systems, EV chargers, and battery storage solutions. You’ll work closely with project teams to ensure installations meet safety standards and electrical codes.
Responsibilities:
- Wire and connect solar inverters, panels, and energy storage systems.
- Install EV chargers for residential and commercial clients.
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code and safety practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and installers to complete jobs efficiently.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the installation team.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician certification (or registered Apprentice).
